From friday night (11 p.m.) until saturday morning (9 a.m.) and again from saturday evening (9 p.m.) until sunday morning (9.a.m.) I operated a booth (table) at a gamecon in Gothenburg (Sweden) together with a friend named Linda.
The idea was to bring a digital camera and take photos of the whole thing but I couldnt borrow any so my plan was to find someone at the gamecon who could loan me his camera for an hour or two.
That didnt work either since I didnt find anyone with even an ordinary camera. My own one was unavailable (wasnt allowed to bring it since my wife thought that people at gamecons are all thieves). Anyway, on sunday I went to the administrators of the gamecon to check if they had any pictures of the event - AND THEY DID!!
I am not surpriced at all that they took a picture of Linda since she was the only female there except some freaky gothwomen.
During friday to saturday we signed up players for a tournament that we held on saturday/sunday and we tought them the game. We also handed out the WOK4 flyer and a little businesscard type of thing that I printed out that had a link to the Stonewars download.
12 persons went head to head in the tournament and we later had a winner. The first ASS Champion (Awsome Swedish Stonewar Champion.) He recieved the sticker but he didnt seem as excited about it as I predicted. I wonder why?
In addition to this I signed up in a benchpress tournament under the name "Stone War" to market the game even further. I ended up in third place. The winner pressed the huge amount of 157.5 kg (346,5 pounds). How am I suppoused to compete with that???? |

Now, you cant go wrong with a chick like this in you booth. Need I say that we had a lot of visitors when she was around? Us men has to be the most stupid animal on earth. Show us some female skin and we will follow that to the end of the world. Almost too easy to predict. |

This is how the table thing looked like that we had. This is however not our place. We also had a table out in the hallway for our fliers and that is where Linda stood. |
