Once more, the citizens of Markdale can say a big "thank you" to Publisher and Staff at the Dundalk Herald and Flesherton Advance for recognizing and publicizing the value of historic finds such as the 1958 movie, WOLF DOG!! On Friday, December 9, 2005, It was my honor to return a lost "Wolf Dog" to its owner. This in the form of a special copy of Philip Lubert's remastered DVD of the 1958 movie to head librarian Beth Kennedy (right) of the Walter Harris Site, Grey Highlands Municipal Library in Markdale, Ontario. I am deeply endebted to Mr. Lubert, videographer of Rogers TV (shown in an inset) for his steady and supportive involvement with the WOLF DOG cause. Philip first became committed to this project after co-editing the original "ROGERS First Local" newspiece with Kris Bernard in June 2005. Thanks so much, Philip! ~Jeff Wilson |
