Ramskapelle
* Ramskapelle, in front of the churchyard a memorial was erected to commemorate the actions of the French 16é Chasseurs & the Belgian 6th Linie Regiment. These units fought here to retake the village from the Germans at the end of October 1914. (above left)

* On the Ramskapellestraat, a
Belgian Military Cemetery wich contains the bodies of 626 men, 394 unknown, killed during the battles of the Yser, Oktober-November 1914 (above right)
* Ramskapelle, the street left from the church leading to the old station, contains three memorials erected for the actions of the 14th Linie Regiment. This unit also fought to recapture the village in 1914. The memorial (right) is the one placed opposite the railway-station.
* The former station of
Ramskapelle was, after the stabilisation of the frontline, fortified and used by the Belgian artillery as an observation post. (below & below right)
