Since Tibet had suffered enormous damage through the Chinese invasion and the past and ongoing cultural genocid, one has to go back to the craddle of the Tibetan Buddhism to learn how Tibet still could shine. The origin can be found in North - India Himalaya province Ladakh, actually eastern Kashmir. Here, the new Buddhistic believe merged first time with the shamanistic Bön religon, which marked the new-born Tibet Buddhism version with its remarkable colours and all those nice demon faces. We spent 2 weeks on a hike through a magnificent and remote landscape, where we had the chance to visit very isolated monestaries. Have fun! |
