| This is me and my horse, Red. OK, so that's not the most original name. but I do have an excuse, he came with that name. Wasn't my idea. He's 16 years old and 16 hands high. Although he is a horse, he thinks that he is a puppy dog. He follows me around the pasture. He trusts me enough to allow me to come up to him while he is laying down and pet him. One time, he laid on his side, laid his head in my lap, and fell asleep!! But anyways, don't strain ure eyes, that shirt says: Been There. Done That Purdue University. :-) |
| OK, this is a gerbil. My most recent pets were my four adorable gerbils. Lu-Lu, Thumper, Fizgig, and Gizmo. Since I have been unable to get the pictures of my gerbils to work, here is a pic from The Gerbil Color Palette. A very interesting site about the different colors of gerbils. Mine were slightly darker, but otherwise look similar. :-) until then, this will have to do. :-) |

| I picked gerbils because they are less likely to cause sinus allergies than some other rodents commonly kept as pets. Although they aren't very big and are very hard to hold for any amount of time, they very quickly won my heart. :-) They would race eachother in their little gerbil balls. They were all adopted by a friend when I could no longer keep them, due to living in the dorms. |
