Although the WOLFE BROS. first formed during the mid 1970s, the group re-established their unique old time sound in the early 1990s. Featuring three vocalists, the band's repertoire ranges from rarely heard traditional songs and tunes to their own original material. Founding members Jerry Correll (fiddle) and Dale Morris (banjo, guitar) are joined by Casey Hash (guitar, accordion) and Donna Correll (bass). They all reside in the Grayson County, Virginia, community of Elk Creek. The band has recorded five projects and their most recent recording, Old Virginia Hills was released in April, 2007. (Click on Wolfe Bros. recordings for more information.) The Wolfe Bros. have been busy the last few years playing at many events such as the Carter Fold Festival, Merlefest, the Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival, the Wayne Henderson Festival, FloydFest, and the Barter Theater in Abingdon, Virginia.
