Here's what I've been up to...
Busy busy busy. Isn't that what I always say?
Well, here's a quick rundown of stuff we've seen sinse my last update. At the National Gallery of Art we saw the American Naive Paintings, which are essentially folk art paintings from the United States. At the same time we saw the Cy Twombly exhibit, this exhibit I just did not understand, I thought it was terrible, but you can judge for yourself. We saw Spirit of an Age: Nineteenth-Century Paintings from the Nationalgalerie, Berlin, this exhibit was very interesting with many different styles of painting, including some of the Impressionists. Finally, we saw "Over the Line: The Art and Life of Jacob Lawrence" at the Phillips Collection.
I attended two concerts I really enjoyed. First, was the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, which was excellent. Second, we saw George Benson, which was really pretty good considering I'm not really a George Benson fan. Both concerts were at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, so the concerts are outdoors.
Onto other things... I started writing restaurant accessibility reviews on Washington D.C. area WebSite, DisabilityGuide.org, I only have three listed right now, but will hopefully get more. Also, I wrote an article for another WebSite called DMD Options, which is for people with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, like myself.
Nothing much else new, but I will be changing the way I do updates for my WebSite, so stay tuned. Also, the syndicated comic I used to get appears to have discontinued its free service, so this month I included a link to Dilbert.com.
