Jeff's Update

December 1999

This is where you can find out what's new with me. I'll try to post an update every month and will try to have it up on the site by the first Monday of each month. Hopefully, this will be a good way for me to keep everyone up-to-date on my life.

My Life

Well, quite a bit has happened since my last update. I finally completed my Marketing Degree at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and graduated on Saturday, December 18th. It took four and one half years of hard work and nearly 45,000 miles of driving, but I finally made it. My parents, brother, aunt and grandmother all attended the graduation ceremony and were very proud. I was glad they were all able to attend. The next day, my parents had a party for me at Hippolyte's Cafe, in nearby Keyport, New Jersey. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed celebrating with my family and many good friends. Now the fun part: going out and finding a job in the real world.

I also found out that my family and I are getting transferred to Virginia sometime within the next several months. There are many pros and cons to this move, however I'm sure everything will work out. Also, at least I know where to focus my job search.

Christmas weekend was busy, but enjoyable. On Christmas Day we slept in and later in the day we had a turkey dinner with our friends, my grandmother and her husband. The next day we had more company including my grandmother and her husband, my mom's aunt and uncle, and my aunt's family all came over for homemade lasagna. On Wednesday my brother's girlfriend arrived for a short visit. She seems nice and apparently has apparently found a way to keep my brother in line (a tough job, believe me).

Happy New Year! Come back in 2000 and see what's new.
