		Similar in nature to existing soda or coffee vending machines, the Alcotron can provide perfectly proportioned mixed drinks with the push of a single button. The Alcotron would be ideal for house parties, since hosts could serve drinks without having any bartending skills. Catering companies could also use the Alcotron to serve drinks at their events, rather than spending extra money to hire a professional bartender. Even professional bartenders themselves could benefit from having the Alcotron behind the bar with them, especially on busy nights when orders pile up. When someone orders a drink, the bartender could just turn around and press the button on the Alcotron and make another drink by hand. Both drinks will be ready to serve at the same time, meaning the bartender has doubled his or her productivity. The Alcotron has applications beyond alcohol consumption. For example, the design of the Alcotron could be modified to automatically dispense the correct dosage of medicine, in pill or liquid form. This would be ideal for elderly patients living alone.
