May 4, 2005 Savannah is active again at night. She's got into digging now. She moves around her wood chips quite a bit. Her dark purple bands are really lightening up and her head is almost all yellow. She looks bigger aswell.

August 08, 2005 Savannah is most definately female! I had wondered about that... I am waiting for a call from the Reptile Wrangler for a buddy for Savannah. Male or female. I also recently changed her substrate to Vita-Sand (it stinks horribly). Savannah was unsure at first butit seems she's more used to it now. Got a nice look at her teeth the other day. Yikes! Pointed back like an anaconda's. Don't bite me! (she hasn't she likes me).

I put him Savannah's big tank and separated them unil Corwin could catch up in size to Savannah. I put them in together for a few minutes to let them meet. Savannah sniff/licked Corwin a few times and they seemed ok until Corwin stepped on Savannah's head. They had a quick fight which I broke up immediately. Neither suffered any visable wounds, although they both got in a few bites. At night they seemed interested in each other. Savannah was really freaked out and I had to wait a while before I could move her. I had a feeling she wold have mistakenly bit me had I not let her calm down.

Friday September 16, 2005 Paulmac's Pet Food Albino Leopard Gecko $59.99 I named him Corwin. He is most definately male. I'm not sure how old he is, but he's about the same size Savannah was when I got her. I'll say his B-day is June 24. He was much bigger than any other leo I found to put with Savannah so I choose him.

Corwin's an albino or tempered albino because he hasn't got pink eyes. His eyes are gold (Savannah's are silver). His spot patterns are more squared than Savannahs.

Sept. 18 2005 I tried again. Corwin was the aggressor, trying hard to get near Savannah. He kept sniff/licking his genitals then going for Savannah's tail. Savannah stuck her tail up and waved it like a flag of warning. He bit her once or twice. I tried putting a screen between them and they are very interested in one another.
