This quilt was made for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversery. It took over a year and a half to complete and was finished less than 2 days before the big Anniversery party!!!! Each patch has a short note from either a family member or a friend that my parents have known during their 50 years together. There is a patch from my Aunt Edna, the oldest living relative on my fathers side of the family and one from my Uncle Johnny the oldest living relative on my mothers side of the family. One patch even bears the name of a family friend who passed away not long after sending the patch to me.
