| When I first began this path I walk,I was given the name Wolfwindspirit by a Elder of the First Nations People. He was born of the Crow Nation, Wolf Clan from the Prior Mt. Rez.. I was adopted into his family as a daughter. Atlthough I had been given a name when I first entered the family; this Elder gave me this name when I had desided to leave my family and go out into a foreign place with the man that would be my husband. He told me that one day I would know what this name ment that was January 5, 1991,. It was early on the morning, January 5, 2002, that I learned the meaning of my name. Wolf--I am not wolf who walks upon Mother Earth, but Sea Wolf-Orca who swims in her oceans. Wind--is where I hear a voice speak to me. The voice of Orca when he breaths. Spirit--the spirit within, the life-force, the energy of who I am. On August 2, 2003, while at Pow Wow in Concord, North Carolina, I was approached by a Grandmother. She told me that she had a message for me She told met my path was to take on a new purpose and it was because of that purpose I was going to be given a new name. Thus I have become CoyoteMagic. Destined to learn and share the medicine of Coyote where ever I travel. Be it good or not so good, all is but a lesson that MUST be learned to further the walk upon ones own path. I am a Spiritual Traveler. I travel where Spirit guides me, to learn what I must learn and continue on my way. I follow the Blue Road of Spirit and go where Spirit takes me. |
