LEGEND OF THE SANTA BROTHERS

Now this is the story about how the SANTA BROTHERS came to be …..Their father, the original SANTA, used to reside in Northern Europe, where he met his wife, SUSIE SANTA. Together, they produced nine sons over a period of 15 years, who all went into their father’s line of work!!

When SUSIE SANTA was only 20 years old, she gave birth to twins, SAMSON & SAMUEL SANTA. Since she was such a young mother, she was still into playing dress-up with them. She accessorized them in abundance, as they lived in such luxury and it was a sign of success. She kept their hair short, as this was the style in Northern Europe, and she was very much into style!! These boys were very nearsighted, so she tried to detract from that fact by using lots of gold and fancy clothing to draw attention away from their poor vision…..

Two years later, along came SYRUS SANTA, who was the hallmark of good taste!! He was so ornamental in attire, he just reeked of material abundance and yet, he was always such a giving person too…..

Three years passed, and times grew hard for the SANTAS. They had to relocate to Northern America, where they lived in the vast woodlands. During these years, SUSIE SANTA bore SETH SANTA, who was a strapping lumberjack of a man, and also SHEP SANTA, who also could pull his own weight!! These boys were trained more in discipline than the first three, and they were less materialistic, more in touch with the earth itself (hence the natural clothing and presents made of sticks, berries and birds)….SETH came along three years after the first three boys, and then SHEP followed a year later……

SCOTT SANTA was born about three years after all the other SANTA BROTHERS. By this time, his parents had regained their status around the world and were living in a more balanced way of life, located right in the center of the NORTH POLE!! They stayed true to their values and taught their boys the beauty of giving, but SUSIE SANTA had experienced a true change of heart. She had literally gone from rags to riches, and what remained was the certainty that her boys should have the best she could offer, in terms of INTERNAL gain, not necessarily EXTERNAL. So, when SCOTT SANTA came along three years later, he entered an entirely different type of family. SUSIE SANTA dressed him as the SANTA we have come to recognize as the traditional one…..He wore red plaid and had ample hair, but a decent length, carried toys in his bag and always stuffed animals for the children…..He is still very beloved by all…..

Three years after, SUSIE SANTA had SYLVESTER SANTA, and after another year passed, she had SIMON SANTA. These two boys looked almost like twins, as they were very much the same size, personality and hairstyles too. SUSIE SANTA was still very much into FOOD as the response for raising boys and also dressing them in plaid, which became the traditional attire of SANTA. Amazingly, SUSIE SANTA learned that if she allowed their hair to grow long, it suddenly began to curl and spiral into waves, which gave them a more modern look…..These boys, she insisted, needed FOOD to be loved, not GOLD, not materialism – They needed food to make them strong and strapping for the job which lay ahead of them. By then, she knew in her heart that all of her sons were going to be in the family business of helping the needy and bringing toys around the world at Christmastime……SYLVESTER SANTA was very cuddly and loveable, and children recognized this right off. While his older brothers were more functional and sometimes distant, SYLVESTER SANTA was very down to earth and everyone loved him!! With SIMON SANTA by his side, they were so much alike that they looked and acted just like twins – Except SIMON SANTA had a desire to exercise (hence the skis) to keep his body more in shape for all the deep bends and heavy lifting required of the job…..

Then, at long last, two years later, the last SANTA was born: SONNY SANTA….He was a bit smaller than the rest, because by then, his mother was 35 years old!! She had changed so much, and no longer cared about materialistic gain, had lived through the lean years in the wilderness, had recovered their losses and learned to be more balanced in raising her children, and then decided SONNY SANTA would be the last one to follow in his father’s footsteps. SONNY SANTA came from a completely different generation though, so he was really into exercise to keep his body fit for his duties at Christmastime – so he was a little more cautious of how his body fit down a chimney top…..He too had the long wavy spiral curled hair, which he chose to wear almost down to his waist – Because this showed the world that he was the atypical SANTA, just like most babies in the family!! He wanted to be unique, singled out among the rest of them, so his hair was his symbol…..But he too does a wonderful job in the family business at Christmastime….

SUSIE SANTA could not be prouder of her boys – She raised NINE SANTAS over a period of FIFTEEN YEARS – These men have taken over the original SANTA’s duties and travel all over the world, literally, to deliver hope, good cheer, goodies, toys and love to children around the world…..They love their work, and they love each other…..They consider themselves fortunate to have their mother, SUSIE SANTA, and also their father, SANTA SANTA, still living to make them proud……

And so ends the LEGEND OF THE SANTA BROTHERS!!!!
