Feminist Counseling & Legal Services Program

The FCLS is Womenlead's core program (Strategic Plan 2001-2003). Through this program, Womenlead's core of lawyers and paralegals engage in litigation to challenge laws, and the legal culture which reinforces biases against women. Likewise, its practice informs Womenlead's development of feminist strategies and case handling and client empowerment.

Training and Legal Education Program

The TLE develops modules for Paralegal and Legal Advocacy Training for Womenlead's partner networks of Women Paralegals, Community-based Legal Advocates and other requesting organizations. It also conducts Training Seminars in coordination with Womenlead's core of Trainers.
