As we previously
reported, Natasha Richardson has pulled out of the upcoming Roundabout
Theatre Company production of August Strindberg's Miss Julie. Rachel Weisz
will now star opposite Philip Seymour Hoffman in the classic, according
to Variety. Weisz made her New York stage debut last season in Neil LaBute's
The Shape of Things, which earned her a 2002 Theatre World Award. While
best known for her film roles, Weisz has actually amassed a considerable
amount of stage credits. She won the Drama Critics Circle Award as Outstanding
Newcomer for her performance in the Donmar Warehouse production of Design
for Living. She also appeared on the London stage in Suddenly Last Summer,
The Courtesans, The Year of the Family, Neville Southhall's Washbag, Slig
