THE WRATH OF GOD For those who would take the wrath of GOD lightly, I would recommend you take a close look at Sodom and Gomorra. Disbelievers will say this is just a bible story. Some will say this story is just a way of relaying a message, to do good or else. While others insist all stories in the bible are parables with hidden meaning. I say because this is a bible story, it can be taken as nothing but serious. That all stories in the bible should be taken at face value first, the bible is for man. There are many parables in the bible, many hidden messages. And many will be revealed to you, the more you put into reading it, the more you will receive. Believing it is inspired, I believe when you seek help, in reading the Holy Scriptures, messages are revealed pertaining to the help, that you are seeking. In the story of Sodom and Gomorra there is evidence, there is multiple coincidence, there is common sense. I believe the Dead Sea is the direct result of the destruction. Of course this is not a new idea, but I believe it to be true. In the story as Lot, his wife, and two daughters were fleeing Sodom, destruction hit the city. Even though they were told not to look back, Lot's wife looked back and was turned to a pillar of salt. While fire and brimstone rained on Sodom, the earth trembled. What was two prosperous cities, with agriculture, herds of live stock, and more evil than GOD was willing to put up with. Has been replaced by the lowest point on earth. Ironic ? That GOD would make, what he thought was, the low point of man, forever be the low point on earth. The bible says that Abram and Lot had great herds, too large to keep together, so Abram told Lot to pick his choice, left or right and he would take the other. " and Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plains of Jordon, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD," ( Gen.13.10 ) This was the description of the valley of Jordon, well watered everywhere, compared to the garden of Eden. This is why Lot took his family and herds there to start with. Science claims the earth changed, and sea water was let into this area, then the earth changed again, and sealed off the sea. I believe this is another case of science trying to disprove religion. The facts are, the Dead Sea being 1,292 feet below sea level, covering an area of three hundred and ninety square miles, increases the density of the atmosphere in the area, which makes it nearly impossible to get a sun burn, even though the temperature sometimes reaches one hundred and twenty degrees. Ironic ? In an area where two cities where destroyed by fire, the Sun doesn't burn you. In an area without natural salt, that salt has killed all life. Is it mere coincidence that Lot's wife was turned to salt when she turned back to look? It just happens to be a huge rift of harden salt called Mount Sodom, believed to be covering the remains of the city of Sodom. Remains have been found there of a ancient city, that shows evidence, of being destroyed by fire. There is just too much salt in this area to have come from the sea. The salt has consumed all life. Science offers their theory, but has no proof. " and he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground."( Gen.19.25 ) " but his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt."( Gen.19.26 ) This holds true today, for nothing will grow there, the water is poison, and everything has been turned to salt. Plus the bible describes this area, before and after this catastrophe, but there is no mention of the sea entering into the picture. A story of the earth changing, to let the sea in, to destroy the evil, would have probably served the same purpose. Logic says this area was just as described, as plains were life flourished, why else would two cities be built there to start with ? Now it serves as an example for all to see. Sodomites beware, GOD will destroy the very ground you stand on, whether you pretend to pray to him or not. Some people have a problem understanding the difference between a sin and a abomination. GOD since the birth of man, has known man's heart is full of sin. This is why man is here and not with GOD in heaven, to overcome this evil. Sins will be forgiven if asked from the heart, while you are still flesh. This is the test of man, ask for forgiveness before death, and except CHRIST as your savior, for he sits at the right hand of GOD. An abomination is beyond sin, it is beyond the level of evil, that GOD is willing to put up with, for man’s sake. The dictionary says an abomination is someone or something of disgust, something of great dislike. Below are a few abominations. " The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment; for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy GOD." ( Deu.22.5 ) This does not say, that a woman cannot wear pants. It says things pertaining to gender. It is clearly addressing the problem of one sex pretending to be the other. " Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind; it is abomination." ( Lev.18.22 ) This plainly says, not to love a man, as you would a woman. " Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith; " ( Lev.18.23 ) This plainly says, not to love animals, as you would a woman. " For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people." ( Lev.18.29 ) This scripture, tells you how to deal with this problem. These people are to be driven away, outcast, cut off, removed from the rest of you. Their very souls are cut off, they are not to be considered at all. Therefore homosexuals, transvestites, and people who have sex with animals are disgusting to GOD. ( an abomination )To these type people, who use terms like, we're gay and we pray, who do you pray to ? Not to GOD, for he finds you disgusting. GOD does not want the rest of us, to have anything to do with you, even on earth. Your very souls are cut off, you have no business in any of GOD’s houses. Stay out of his churches. To the so called gay priest, you don't even read the bible you pretend to know. Anyone professing to be gay, must not be allowed to teach the gospel. For they truly are an abomination in the eyes of GOD. " Ye shall be holy; for I the LORD your GOD am holy." ( Lev.19.2 ) This is the difference between sins and abomination, we all have sin, but sins are forgiven, if asked from the heart, in the name of CHRIST. But abominations are against everything Holy, not in the image of GOD. GOD’s plan was for man to go forth and multiply, to honor thy father and mother, and continue this lifestyle, generation after generation until heaven. Any deviation from this, the will of GOD, is an abomination. GOD is Almighty, he will have things his way. He has showed his wrath, more than once, against those who would commit, abominations. He has plainly defined abominations, for all to see. There will be no place to hide. I feel confident in saying, there will be nothing disgusting in heaven. |
