Equipment consists of Icom IC751 transceiver (100 watts output), Ameritron AL80B linear amplifier, and an Ameritron ATR-30 antenna tuner. Antennas are Cushcraft A3S (3 element tribander) on a 48 ft. (16 meter) self-supporting heavy duty Delhi tower. Alpha Delta DX-LB for 160M, 80M, and 40M. The DX-LB is a 100 long trapped dipole with centre supported at 45 feet on tower; ends slope down to about 15 ft. An Isopole for 2 meters. Station is located in Telkwa, British Columbia, Canada. Lat. 54 41 N Long. 127 04 W. Telkwa is located near Smithers, B.C. which is about 350 km west northwest of Prince George, B.C. It is on the Yellowhead Highway 16 about halfway between Prince George in the geographical centre of B.C. and Prince Rupert, B.C. on the Pacific coast. |
