Stuff I Dig

My Cats I'd never been a cat person until I got my apartment, and cats were the only pets I was allowed to have. That changed immediately. I have three cats, Abracadabra, Ferris Mewler, and Ophelia. Now I think kittens and cats are so cool. People say cats have an attitude, but I think it is all based on how you treat them from the time they are kittens until they're older. Mine are very affectionate and love cuddling, and Ferris is into smooches. Abra is the princess, Ophelia Marie is the shy one, and Ferris should have been named Romeo.
John Cusack He is by far my favorite actor. I've seen every one of his movies, and I think my favorite would have to be Better Off Dead. His dark humor is hilarious, and I have never been disappointed with any of his performances. High Fidelity was gold. He is the one actor who can pull my penny-pinching butt to the theater when he's got a new movie out. The man is a God.
Spring I love the smell of spring rain. I love fresh cut grass. I love when it's too warm for a jacket, yet not quite warm enough to go without a sweatshirt. Plus, my birthday is in the spring!
Hugs No matter what is wrong in my life, a hug from someone I care about always seems to destress me. There's something about the sense of security I feel when two strong arms are wrapped around me...almost as if the rest of the world doesn't exist and everything is going to be just fine.
Cheese-filled PretzelStix The perfect food to cure the munchies! They take a total of a minute and a half to cook in the microwave and they are so yum! I usually eat them after a night of drinking or if Jared has been over. Pretzels and cheese have always been a favorite snack of mine, and to put them together in one convenient little microwavable package was a stroke of pure genius!
Babies Babies are the epitome of everything the world should be. They are so sweet and innocent and trusting, and they're love is unwavering. There is something about the way a baby smells that just melts my heart. After a bath and fresh nappy, I could just cuddle with an infant for hours, amazed by his perfect tiny features and softness of his skin.
The Simpsons No matter what the situation, I can always relate it to The Simpsons somehow. My favorite character is Ralph Wiggum. I love him so much I named my hamster after him. Even though it's a cartoon designed for entertainment, there are some lessons that are taught, wisdom that is shared, and...hell! It makes me laugh, and that's enough for me!
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory Maybe it's the Oompa Loompas, maybe it's Veruca Salt getting dumped down a garbage shoot, maybe it's Violet Beauragard turning into a giant blueberry, maybe it's the Chocolate Room -you know the one I mean, where everything is edible...I can't give just one reason why I love this movie. Charlie symbolizes hope for anyone who's ever had a dream. This is a movie I've always had a soft spot for.
Neutrogena Pore Refining Cleanser I don't exactly know when I started using it, but I've found the one facial cleanser that has cleared up my skin. I've been able to stop using all the other garbage I had in my medicine cabinet. It has refined my skin, and my face isn't shiny. I was all psyched to try it because I hate my huge pores, and that's the only thing it hasn't done that it's supposed to: reduce the appearance of pores. They're still there. But I've only had one blemish since I started using this stuff, so yeah, I'll pay the $6.99. It's my one splurge every few months.
