Kodak DCS420 Digital Camera
The DCS420 is Kodak's fourth digital camera based on the Nikon N90 35mm body (hybrid) released in end 1994 till about 1999, when it was first released the street price was about US$8,000.00.  "Raw' images produced by its 1.5 megapixel CCD chip are interpolated to produce 4.5Mb 24-bit images suitable for reproduction up to quarter page in a high repro-quality magazine (max resolution 1524 x 1012).  Image storage on removable PC cards, Type III.  The DCS420 is capable of capturing a burst of five images in 2.25 seconds before it saves them on the hard drive.  14mm x 9.3 imager magnifies focal length of the lens 2.5X.  ISO-equivalent settings of 100, 200 / 400.  Records approximately 400 images per battery charge, with one hour to recharge, or unlimited number with AC battery adapter/charger.

The weight (without lens) at 3.75 lbs (1700g), size is 170 x 114 x 208mm (6.7 x 4.5 x 8.2in).

Currently, this camera has been discontinued by Kodak, however, Kodak is still providing technical support for the Firmware and Software.  I have no problem running it with Microsoft Windows XP Profession Edition and Adobe Photoshop 6.0.

The advantage of the camera other than a pro SLR digital camera, it able to accept the full range of Nikkor AF mount lenses and Flash such as SB-24/25 etc.
