| My name is Joe McCuaig..I live in Northern Lower Michigan with my wife,Sharon , 2 dogs and 4 Cats ...I'm a Self Taught Carver and painter..I've been Carving Folk Art /Outsider Art for over 20 years,Carving Sculptures and Relief Carvings of various sizes and shapes....I started painting about a year ago..I had the good fortune of traveling to Atlanta,Georgia this year and set up at The Who-Fest where I met Some outstanding Artists like Blacktop,W.D. Harden,Ramona Hotel,Cornbread and others too numerous to mention..My carvings are carved using most varieties of Soft wood and I use any tool that helps me do the job...Quite a few of my tools are Home made though there are "store -bought" tools too..There is quite a stigma on Southern Folk Art to people but I'm trying to expose the same people to my Art as there are good Artists living in the "North" also...Please feel free to click on my guestbook and sign it..Thanx for checking me out.......Big Heads Rule!!!!!!
