If you know of these towns * no longer in exsistance ( nle ) and would like to share a brief story on  them and can pinpoint a location, your help is always welcomed and appreciated.
I also need help in town history book transcribing and lookup volunteers.
Here is my goal for this section, so you may better understand what I would like available.

1. Brief town histories, basically when was it platted and by whom,  and then  the firsts
( like first child born, first blacksmith and etc. )
2. Normally inside a town history book there will be a section on Family Storys, some maybe a few pages long ( this is normal for first settler families that have stayed for decades ) to very breif ones.  I would like the names indexed according to surname ( last name ) then First and  middle intial or middle name.  To further help I also am trying to include the spouse's full name with her maiden name.  Sometimes this  is given in the header for each family sometimes you
will need to read through the story to get it. If you do not find a maiden name  you will simply put ( not given ) in place of it.    This will help those looking for a particual John Doe and normally the researcher can associate the right John Doe to his wives name.
3. I desire people, that have easy access to these town history books, for volunteer lookups and to possibly make a photocopy of it / them for the requestor. The requestor is required to reimburse you for any copy made and the postage due to mail it. Other then this your time must be  free.
If you have the time, the patient and the resource to help.                e-mail me
