The latest addition to the wood stable is this 2000 model XR400R. I was open to new ideas, so I went shopping for a Yamaha WR400, but the Yamaha salesman was a wanker and couldnt give me as good a deal as Mr Honda. The rest is history......
The new XR has a long list of mods already - HRC kit with High Comp piston, Noleen Pipe, Renthal bars, carbon fibre look fork decals and Factory Effex graphics and gripper seat cover. Since these photos I've also added black/alloy wrap-around hand guards with short levers aswell!
She goes like a demon, and looks pretty trick too!
The only planned additions for the future are a front braided brake line to improve that spongy XR feel and an aftermarket air filter..... giddee up! |
