| Bronze, Silver & Gold Awards What is the Bronze Award? Earning the Bronze Award shows that you have made a promise to help others, improve your community and world, and become the best you can be. What is the Silver Award? The Silver Award is symbolic of accomplishments in Girl Scouting and community activities, as you grow and work to better your life and the lives of others. What is the Gold Award? Someone once described the Girl Scout Gold Award as being "what you really want to be remembered for" in Girl Scouting. For many, the leadership skills, organizational skills, and sense of community and commitment that come from "going for the gold" cement the foundation for a lifetime of active citizenship.
