Antler Handled Knife | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
I refitted a modern blade with a new antler handle. The tang extends about 3/4 of the way into the handle and is held in place by two brass rivets. This is the second knife that I have retrofitted in this manner.

Pollaxe Head | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
This aluminum Pollaxe was really the result of the collaberation of a number of people. I first hand my father sand mold and cast the axe and spike. A friend of a friend then welded the two pieces togther and added the sleeve for the shaft. I cleaned up all the welding and sanded the finished axe head. I then fitted the head to a 6' hickory pole (made by another friend) and added steel langettes using brass hardware. The end result was a nice replica pollaxe suitable demonstation and training.

Buckler | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Not really a weapon, however I was not sure were to place this item. Its made with a wooden rim covered in leather. The center boss is made with two steel dishes overlapped for extra strength. I can not take credit for the idea (which I ran across on the ArmourArchive) of using cheap dollar-store bowls but it works great.
