PHOTOGRAPH 2 PYROGRAPH
HOW I DO IT; All of My work is done in the Swamplands of Central Florida. Each piece of Aged White Pine is carefully chosen; hand cut; given a finished edging & sanded smooth prior to applying your Special keepsake Photograph. No mass productiion here! Each piece is done by the human hand. You can be assured that your Pyrograph has been created with a feminine touch of love, caring & particularity..
After your pyrograph is complete I will then apply a color stain and allow it to soak in for 2 to 3 hours. If color is to be added; now is the time .I then allow the colors to sit and soak into the wood  for 12 to 24 hours. After these steps I then apply a couple coats of Clear Gloss Polyurethane; let dry for approximatly 4 to 6 hours (depending on thickness of poly coat.) After it dries I then scuff it with fine steel wool or fine sandpaper to smooth out any burrs that may have  occured in the previous steps. I then wipe it down with Mineral Spirits to remove all the dust & fine particals; then proceed to apply the final coats of Clear gloss poly. It then needs 48 to 72 hours to cure and harden tight before I can package up and send to you. Your photograph copy will be returned with your Pyro order...
