Chenille Scrunchie

Size G hook, worsted weight yarn of choice.  Sample was made using 'Chenille Sensations'

Row 1:  join yarn to elastic band with sc, sc around band to cover.  (The more sc you put around the fuller the scrunchie will be) Join with sl st to 1st sc. Row2:  ch 3; dc, ch 3 in same st; (2 dc, ch3) in each sc around.  Join with sl st to top of ch 3. Row 3:  sl st in next dc and ch sp; ch 1, sc in same sp; ch 3; (sc, ch 3) in each ch space around; join with sl st to 1st sc.

I've also made this scrunchie, using 1/8 ribbon for row 3 with good results.
