A Poem to Nature
Walking through the forest
I understood quite well
Daylight from sunny Rays
Lit Up the Path and Way
So I ventured and I Saw
How every leave so gleamed
Bright and shiny In the Dew,
And I didn't
Want to Leave
Beauty Radiated from all Points
East the creek so gurgled
West the Leaves so Trembled
South the Grass so Waved
North My Heart would Shake
So I ventured and I saw
What I longed to Own One Day
All the Peace that's In the Breeze
All the Love that's in the World
How I shuttered at the sight
Of the Dimming of the Light
Now the Moon is high and Bright
and the glow brings me Delight
But I cannot see my way
I have lost another Day
Will I know now where to go
Please don't fear if you would stay
Night is comfort in the stars
Sleep my child it now is dark
You can dream and I'll be there
Do not fret a minute stare
Into Pastures Calm and free
Of Meadows Soothing you to sleep
If You stay, Do not Regret
For Sunshine Comes this Once Again
And the Awestricken Paradise
For You to Have and to Delight
Will never never Go Away
Even if You Decide to Stay the night.
