I grew up in Idaho. You'd never know I married a guy who lived five minutes away from me. We have never lived by family since we've been married. He works for a big company which has moved us to Los Angeles, New York, Houston, Saudi Arabia, and now Kuwait. You get to know quite a few people when you do that. And boxes get very familiar.
I have a secondary teaching degree in English and mathematics. But I'm mostly an at-home mom. I've taught my kids at home for seven years. Also, for many years I've done volunteer work in my church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Primary is great! It has saved my sanity more than once.
