What is Peer Tutoring? Peer Tutoring is a program at Foothill High School that gives the opportunity for students to receive free help in subjects. Foothill students volunteer to tutor, and tutors receive credit.

Tutoring Times (You don't have to stay for the full time): Mondays through Thursdays (except school holidays)
mornings from 7:15 a.m. - 7:55 a.m., at lunch from 12:04 p.m. - 12:34 p.m. , and after school from 2:38 p.m. - 4:00. p.m.
Finals Schedule: Tutoring available after school from 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Cost: No fee

Walk-ins are sometimes available, but registration is required for regular tutoring. Tutors must pre-register. Registration forms can be printed from this web site or you may fill out our on-line form. Registration forms are also located by the Career Center in the counseling office. Written forms can be turned in to Ms. Haire (Room B-2) or in a box by the Career Center. Registration is accepted anytime during the school year.

Foothill High School Peer Tutoring Program Online!, formerly known as The StudySite!, The Site for Honors Sophmore Students! and Word Smart II Vocabulary for Mr. Richey's Honors English Classes, was established on January 1, 2000. It is now used for the peer tutoring program, bringing help in all subjects, not just vocabulary.
