Poetry Competition
The winners were announced at Morning Poetry at the Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre on Saturday 8 August.
The winners are Charles D'Anastasi - first place; Jillian Pattinson - second place; Paul Mitchell - third place; Peter Murk, Ian C Smith, Sam Byfield, Lorraine McGuigan, B N Oakman, Rob Scott and Jennie Fraine - highly commended.
Winners' names will be published in The Advocate, which is distributed weekly throughout Hepburn Shire.
The organisers of Words in Winter thank Joy Brisbane for once again generously sponsoring the competition.
Thanks also to Ross Gillett for judging and, of course, to all those who entered the competition.
