Help Keep God Alive
This message comes to you in the form of a
plea. A plea by definition represents a
sort of a petition or an appeal to cause someone to consider doing something
other than that which he or she is going to do. Today's plea or petition in its purpose embodies an attempt to
persuade you, not only for your own good but for the good of those who depend
upon you. to ask you to help in keep God alive.
Listen closely and discover what is in store of
you, for me, and for the rest of the world if we don't all join together to
help keep God alive. Today I am pleading with you at home to sign your name to
this petition on that dotted line in your hearts to help keep God alive. If you and others like you refuse to sign
on the signature line in your hearts, God will surely die. Now let me explain.
First you must know that God is surely dead in
your heart today if you have not received Christ into that heart. When we accept his son Jesus as our Lord and
Saviour, God lives again in yet one more heart, yet again in one more
life. And that is exactly how we can
help to keep God alive. Helping to keep
God alive will insure a greater opportunity for many things in eternity,
especially seeing all of those people you love when you get there...but only if
each one of you, each one of us helps to keep God alive. Will you help to keep God alive today?
No, surely,
the one and only true God is not dead, nor will the creator ever die,
but in the hearts of mankind, God can surely die. And, people, if God does indeed die in the greater part of all
men and women's hearts, we are in for some dire circumstances. In Genesis 6:13 God said to Noah, the God
I'm asking you to help keep alive, this God said, "I am going to put an
end to all people, for the earth if filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and
the earth." And God did.
The long and the short of the story is that
mankind refused to keep God alive in their lives. They refused to live for him.
They refused to follow the paths of righteousness as Noah did. All sorts of evil raged through the hearts
of mankind. In so doing in each and
every heart of all but Noah and his family, just eight hearts, in each and
every other of, perhaps, millions of hearts, God had died. God died in all the hearts of mankind. But, of course, in reality and in terms of
forevermore, thank God, God did not really die.
But, because God died practically everywhere, in
almost every heart, God's warning that the earth would be destroyed by flood
actually occurred. Furthermore, since
not enough people elected to keep God alive, the flood came and all but Noah
and his family died. That's what
happens when we fail to help to keep God alive, as a family, as a community, as
a country, and as a world. When nobody
wants to help keep God alive, God dies.
He dies in their hearts, in their thoughts, in their minds. And when God dies, and not enough want to
help him to stay alive, the worst follows.
Now let's visit the present. Now-a-days it is easier to help keep God
alive because he sent his one and only son to die for our sins. How do we keep God alive today? It's so easy that nobody seems to want to do
it. Receive God's son Jesus Christ as
your lord and Saviour and help keep God alive.
Encourage your family and others and be a Noah unto your family and
point them toward the Cross of Christ and let them be safe from eternal
damnation by being in the ark of Christ.
God will look for his spirit in you when you die, and when he finds
it, you will go to be with him.
You know, more and more people do not want to
help to keep God alive. God was removed
from the schools back in the sixties and we now have war zones in schools. God not only died in the educational system,
God was deliberately and systematically destroyed. God's son Jesus has been run out of some churches as his son
doesn't have the place he is entitled to.
When God died in the hearts of mankind during Noah's time it was because
he had no one to do his work. As God
dies in our time, it is likewise because no one wants to do his work. We must not wonder why violence and
destruction are on the rise. More and
more mankind is helping to keep the devil alive and not God. You can start to change that today by either
receiving Christ for the first time as lord and Saviour or by returning to
Christ and join the ranks of those who want to help keep God alive.
