The number '666' is the number of man - for man was created on the 6^th day. It carries the significance of six in its most intensified form. This is number of the "Beast" . The number '666' is also used in connection with Gold. (1 Kings 10:14).

Thirty six is a product of 6*6. If we add up all digits from 1 to 36, we have a total of 666.

There were six sets of 666 years from Adam to the birth of Christ and this also proves that our Lord Jesus was not born on A.D 1 but on B.C 4. God ordained Christ to appear 'in the fullness of time'.
