Funny Isn't It?

Funny how you can say that you don’t need a best friend like them the second you have a disagreement,
But hey, its only a friend, you got plenty of those right?
Funny how you can say its your life you can do whatever you want,
But if you keep doing that crap its funny how you still think your gonna have one.
Funny how you can say you don’t need love in your life, that its nothing you would want,
But hey, its only an eternity of loneliness, nothing big.
Funny how you can say you hate your parents,
But just think, would you have any chance to be alive today without them?
Funny how you can always say never, but never ever say forever,
But hey, its your excuse, not mine.
Funny how you can make people think that you have no troubles,
But hey, anorexia and thinking your unpopular don’t count as troubles to you, do they.
Funny how you can talk behind someone’s back and be so nice to them then next minute when your around them.
But hey, its only your reputation, no biggie.
Funny how someone can rip your heart out and expect you to get over it, then you can say I’m on top of the world just so people stop asking you how you are,
But hey, its only reality.

Funny how this little poem didn’t lie about people like you and me, funny how you want to believe it does,
