| Gods Flower Garden |
| God has a flower garden, And we are the seed; He's given us his love, And meets our every need. Some of us are like daffodils, In the early spring; But fade in early summer, No longer to be seen. Others are like roses, Beautiful to see; But underneath that beauty, The thorns wait silently. To prick their admirer, And send them off in fright; To look for other flowers, That seek dark instead of light. Some are like flowers, In the morning dew; Bringing the promise of, Another day a new. A reflection of the Son, And the joy of his love; Reflecting the beauty of, Our Father up above. We are all like Gods flowers, Our season lies ahead; What kind of seed, will we leave, In his flower Bed? David Stevens |
