The first press that I ever made was a motorized, portable litho press. When disassembled by removing 50 bolts it could be transported in my Toyota Trecel. The heaviest component being the pressbed, I have since found a much lighter material to use.

My new designs for litho presses are totally custom and bases truly on the printmakers requirements, such as studio size, printing type plate, stone or both, portability, frequency of printing, size of editions pulled to name a few.
