Jason Rudalavage picks up the hard fought victory last Saturday night. Jason started on the outside pole and jumped out into the lead right away as pole sitter John Sanders fell back at the start. Jason soon had Tom Oleski on his tale and Oleski would eventually get around him for the lead. Oleski led a couple laps until Rudalavage got back around him. But flying up through the pack were Ed Strada Jr. and Mike Ricci. Ed started 16th and Mike started 18th but the two were on a mission. Ricci was able to get to the front faster than Strada and Mike had another victory in grasps. But after battling with Rudalavage for a couple laps Mike broke his brake line and had a harder time putting the car into the turns. But Mike who is an experienced veteran held on strong and began pressuring Jason in the final stages hoping that Rudalavage would make a mistake. With the white falg coming out Mike a a good run coming out of turn two and looked like he might pull this one out but the caution flew setting the stages fro a green and then checkered flag. Ted Stout picks up first ever Sportsman win. Ted who Stouts Bussing 27 has been getting stronger every week finally pulled out the victory on Saturday night. Ted who won several features in a Street Stock is finally getting the handle on his Sportsman look out. Ted started fourth and jumped out into the lead on early and just blew away from the field. Points leader and defending champ Ralph Mele got involve in an early wreck putting front end damage on the R.R. Wilmont Excavating #711. Ralph was able to return on the elad lap but really had to battle with the car and just hung around till the end hoping cars would drop out. With Stout checked out on the field Brad Grammes got into secon and was trying to run down Stout but he could not do it as Ted Stout took home the glory. Chris Piasecki returned to Moc A Tek and went home with two feature wins. Chris who started 16th in the held over feature quietly creeped through the field. Defending champ Mike Loney started 17th and quickly flew up to the front with the track conditions roughMike hit a hole the wrong way and blew the right rear tire forcing him to the pits. However Mike was ble to get it cahnged fast and reamin on the lead lap. Jim Sykes held the lead most of the race running real strong but Piasecki was charging along with Chuck Lowe and Mike Loney. With only a couple laps laps Chris worked the inside of Sykes and Had the momentum to pull off the pass and the victory. Once again Sykes jumped up front with Tom Herman battling him for the spot. But Piasecki patiently worked his way through the field along with Loney as well as Nick Petrilak Loney's night would come to an end as his water pump blew. Once Piasecki got to the front of the pack he had to hold of late charges from Petrilak to win. Nate Evans once agains finds victory lane. Jim Balutis held the lead for half the race and looked real strong and held of Evans who started 3rd most of the race but a flat tire killed Balutis's efforts as he retired to the pits. Evans lead grew but posting a late charge was the mighty four cylinder of Frank Bush. Frank seemed to close the gap but he just ran out of laps as Evans went on to win. 14 year old Davie Franek Jr made a late charge to pick up his first win at Lake Moc A Tek. Kevin Nolf who was strong the whoile night held a strong lead but Franek started to close the gap and with old a couple laps left Franek bolted to inside coming off turn four and jumped over Nolf'f front tire and hgot the lea. Franek was able to hold of Nolf to the Checkers.
