Mike Ricci wins agains for the modifieds. Early cautions helped Mike stay with the pack and work his way through the field to end up front. Barry White grabbed the early lead with Bill Reese in hot pursuit of White. Ricci mounted his charged and capped it off witha double pass for the lead with Reese following in second. Tom Laner Jr. picks up firt official win of the 2001 season as he previously won a couple weeks back the make up feature from last year. Laner felt pressure form Alex Knopka all night and was able to hold him off for the victory. Brad Grammes came home third and Ralph Mele fourth. These four will make the race for the Sportsamn Championship very interesting this year.
