One of the hottest drivers in the Northeast doesn't seem to be cooling off any. Mike Ricci who Friday night came off a win at Accord found victory lane as well on Sat. at Moc A Tek. Brian Cobb grabbed the early lead starting on the outside pole with  Barry White and Gary Griffin on his tail. Brian who just moved up to the Modified ranks this year had a good car leading a couple laps until veteran Barry White was able to get around him. As for Mike Ricci he started way back in 17th starting spot and made his charge through the pack as he picked off cars all over the track to get to the front. Barry White held the nice lead over Cobb who had his hands for with Gary Griffin and Bobby Puckett. On a restart after a caution, Mike got a good run underneath Puckett and soon after that passed Cobb as well. He set his sights on the leader and going into turn three Mike got a good run and White's car went high and Mike dove to the bottom and got by them. Mike was able to put it on cruise control as cautions plagued the rest of the event and the checkers were thrown as they hit the curfew. A Developing situation occured on the finla caution as under the caution second place driver Barry White lost a tire and third place Cobb got a flat. But since the checkered flag was thrown under yellow the scored the results from the last completed green flag lap.
