This week on World Superstar...our top 8 will be performing motown/soul hits. But once again, someone didn't send in their song. We're going to have to say goodbye to Anthony - he is eliminated as of now because he didn't send in his song on time. So this week our final 7 will be performing. Good Luck and have fun everyone! First up this week, we have Matthew singing "Tears Of A Clown" Matt – I have no idea what you are saying throughout the whole song. It sounds like a fun song, but I don’t what your saying, so it’s kinda hard to judge it. From what I hear, it’s alright. Kelly - I like this song. It’s very difficult to hear you though. Honestly, I don’t think I can understand a word you’re saying. I’m not sure I can really judge on this ‘cause it’s REALLY hard to hear. I can’t hear too much but it sounds like you’re in tune. I can’t really tell too much else though. I think for next week you should try to turn the mic up so it’s louder than the music. Is it you who had the problem with the static last week? Hmmm…. ***** Next is Lauren with her version of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" Matt – I don’t know if this is the right song for you. It still is good though, because you have a really good voice. It’s not your best, but I’m sure you will stick around, because you are good enough. Kelly - I don’t think this is your best week. You started off kinda shaky but now it sounds like it’s going better. It just sounds like it’s out of your vocal reach, not sure why. At parts it sounds really good and at others it sounds like you’re straining. Does your throat get sore when you sing? I know what you’re capable of though, I know you can do better ;) ***** Now we have Jordan singing "Dance With My Father" Matt – Amazing. Wonderful job! Kelly - I LOVE this song. Nice vocals again. Not sure what else to say. It’s really good. Sad song has a bit of meaning to me. Bonus points for you for making me cry :P ***** Next up is Holly singing "Stand By Me" Matt – You still haven’t blown me away, but I think this is definitely better than last week. I know you can blow us away, and I hope you can show us that soon. Kelly - It’s really hard to hear the music, but that’s ok. Matt and I were talking about this performance earlier and he told me what he thought. I actually think this performance is one of your better ones (of the 2 others I’ve heard), however, I still don’t think that vocally it’s that great. The past 2 weeks I’ve suggested using your head register rather than your chest, and you still haven’t atleast tried it.
