Be not afraid. This was said several times by Pope John Paul, telling millions of youth to take a stand for their Religion. After seeing millions of believers from around the globe, it makes ones own faith become stronger. Knowing that no one is ever alone in their faith. After spending two weeks with a group from Ireland, it makes you realize that we are all the same...even though we have different accents, tell different jokes, or play different card games, we still have the assurance knowing that we are all the same...through our faith.
The Pope's homily reminded me of when Jesus walked on water. There was a terrible storm at sea and the disciples were in the boat struggling against the storm. They then saw Jesus walking towards them on the sea and they were terrified. But he said to them, "It is I; do not be afraid." So know matter how many storms your struggling, just know that Jesus is willing to walk through it to help you, to bring you to Him. Just call on Him.
