FROGS
copyright 1972
It's like The Birds, but with Frogs!  Yeah, I can tell you're scared.

The story goes that there is a rich family that lives in a mansion in the middle of a swamp.  They are celebrating birthdays and the Fourth of July, but are rudely interrupted by some malevolent amphibians.  Sam Elliott (sans moustache) plays a nature photographer and is the only character with a brain in the movie.

Probably the only reasons to watch are the hilarious, elaborate and long death scenes.  You get to see people attacked by alligators, snakes, lizards, tarantulas, crabs, and even a bigass snapping turtle.  My personal favorite death was Grandma.  She did a face plant in the mud and ended up covered in leeches.  She then stumbles around, running into trees until a snake mercifully bites her.

Actually, for being titled
Frogs, we never see these guys hurt anyone.  Granted, there is at least 20 minutes of frogs sitting around ribbitting menacingly while creepy music plays.  But, when it's time for murdering wealthy aristocrats, they just watch their slimy brothers do it.

1 out of 5.
A campy flick with some funny death scenes.  Drinking every time you see a frog makes the movie much better.
