This is one of my all time favorite movies. Wilford Brimley, Kurt Russell, Keith David, and some other familiar faces are terrorized by a killer, shapeshifting alien at an Antarctica research station.
The Thing moves from person to person, and you never know who has been infected and who hasn't. The twelve men grow paranoid and suspicious of each other. The film has great suspense, a creepy feeling of isolation and scary & gory special effects. Some great scenes show the Thing attacking dogs, a guy's arms getting ripped off, a cool as hell blood test, a severed head sprouting spider legs and walking off and just about every part where the Thing is revealed as one of the characters provides a scare. Go buy this movie right now. You won't be disappointed.
