| Incest in the Old West! This should've been a cult classic, but what're ya gonna do? Fred Ward plays a motocross rider named Lyle Swann who accidently gets sent back in time to the old west. There he runs into a gang of outlaws who have been terrorizing a small town. When they see Lyle in his riding gear and cruising around on a motorized horse, they're scared shitless. After the initial shock, the leader of the bad guys (Peter Coyote) decides he wants the bike. And what better way to get the bike than to shoot at it? In between running away from these outlaws and trying to get back to the race going on 100 some odd years in the future, Lyle gets laid by a hot cowgirl. Well, the bike and the girl end up being captured by the outlaws, and Lyle has to lead a group of townsfolk into their camp to get his two loves back. At this point of the film, Lyle still doesn't realize he has traveled back in time. In fact, it isn't until the final minute of he movie that he sees what has happened. How he could've been that stupid is beyond me. This film could best be defined as a low budget B-movie. But it's one of the better ones out there. It has action and humor and decent acting. Be warned however, there is some shitty synth music. Oh, and sex with dead relatives. |
