| Unreal Tournament is the kind of game that might only appeal to a certain type of person. For instance, if you are a die-hard Final Fantasy fan and you dont like any other types of game, you may not like Unreal Tournament's no-storyline, kill-everything attitude. However, most people (including me) enjoy the senseless violence of UT and the fact that it doesn't use up many braincells. At the time of writing, it is arguably rated as the best tournament based FPS (first-person shooter) for the PC and now PS2. You choose from over 15 weapons, each with alternate firing modes, and battle your way through the tournament, fighting against configurable 'bots' (virtual warriors). This way is a bit short for some, so you will be glad to know it also has excellent multiplayer capabilities, over the internet or a network. |
