How to get a rank

Shadow Raven has four ranks, with different titles inside each rank.

The first rank is the rank of pioneer and during this time he must show that he has intentions of staying with the guild. When he has shown good intentions, they are then given the title of pathfinder and become a full member. The following requirements are as follow to be able to move into the second rank status.

1. The Pioneer must have advanced to the rank of Pathfinder.
2. The Pathfinder must be part of the guild for at least 1 month.
3. The member must be of level 20.
4. The member must perform at least 1 task given by either the guild master or one of the higher ranking officers.
5. The member must have given an idea of what path s/he wants to take in level two.

When all requirements are performed, the Pathfinder may request promotions to one of the following ranks within rank two. All the ranks in this level are equal, just different paths. When the member submits a request, we will then appoint a time where we can talk with the member to see if they are ready and worthy to be promoted. If we decided that they have earned rank two, they will be promoted at the next guild meeting.

The follow titles are within rank two, and may be chosen by the member. Please note, any class my seek any one of these three:

1. Knight – This path is meant for those who are the warriors of the guild. They are at the front of the fight, protecting the healers, or seers of the party. A Knight must be ready go to battle if requested and avalible to do so. Also, a higher leveled Knight above all other titles, must help out in leveling and leading the lower levels.
2. Seer – A seer is one who follows the path of magick. Such are Mages and Priests. Seers over see battles and keep the group alive and to their best abilities. A seer is more likely to practice things such as enchanting or alchemy. They are able to provide boosts to the group, a touch of magick to weapons, and potions to aid in fighting.
3. Scout – A scout is someone who is more independent. They go out on their own and explore lands. These are also members who concentrate on their craft or expertise. A Scouts job in the guild is to contribute by way of their craft. Such as enchanting items, crafting armor or weapons, or making potions for other members. Also, a scout must report to the higher officers of any information they have gathered and deem useful on their outings.

When you reach rank two and become a Knight, Seer, or Scout, you must become active in what ever you do. It is expected out of all titles, that you will come (if possible) to aid the needs of a fellow guild member. You must use your talents and skills to help one another and to improve the over all well being of the guild. It is also expected that you try to make all guild meetings.

Not many will reach the third level, as it takes time and commitment to the guild and members and there are limitations to who and how many can fill the follow positions:

The following titles apply in rank three:

Champion (3) This person will have reached a higher level in the game, and have been a long time standing member of the guild. This person will have earned the right of an elite knight through honor and skill within the cities and guild. They must have earned titles through fighting on the battlefield. A Champion oversees the members of the guild and insures that there is no unfair play going on between the members. Other duties may include: helping organize trips and events, making sure the lower levels are being helped by way of items and leveling (through them and other members of the guild), and keeping peace and order among the guild.

There will only be three Champions at any given time within the guild. If you meet the qualifications and wish to obtain title of Champion, you may do so by notifying one of the Heralds or the Guild Master for further details.

Herald (2) The Heralds are the main officers of the guild. These people, holding no specific level, are the advisors to the Guild Master. These persons are also responsible for dealing with guild matters on a day to day basis. The Herald represents our guild among the people. They are also responsible in helping the guild grow. The Herald must advise the Guild Master of any suspicious events or talk and if there are certain members that should be watched more closely. They have the right to recrute, invite, remove, promote, demote, and control information within the guild.
