One last angry look by Ely Buendia

There were sad lines in our twisted fates

There were bad rhymes to our sorry states

And we had to turn away

Having nothing to say

Like leaves falling down

We never made a sound

And as the world breaks

We are bound by love

And as the feeling burns

We keep faith above

When the night starts to fall

I must answer your call

Just turn away

No need to stay

*this came from eraserheads' unreleased album "Pop-U!"

Sunny Came Home by Shawn Colvin

Sunny came home to her favorite room
Sunny sat down in the kitchen
She opened a book and a box of tools
Sunny came home with a mission

She says days go by I'm hypnotized
I'm walking on a wire
I close my eyes and fly out of my mind
Into the fire

Sunny came home with a list of names
She didn't believe in transcendence
It's time for a few small repairs she said
Sunny came home with a vengeance

She says days go by I don't know why
I'm walking on a wire
I close my eyes and fly out of my mind
Into the fire

Get the kids and bring a sweater
Dry is good and wind is better
Count the years, you always knew it
Strike a match, go on and do it

Days go by I'm hypnotized
I'm walking on a wire
I close my eyes and fly out of my mind
Into the fire
Light the sky and hold on tight
The world is burning down
She's out there on her own and she's alright
Sunny came home
Sunny came home...

Galileo by Indigo Girls

galileo's head was on the block
the crime was looking up for truth
and as the bombshells of my daily fears explode
i try to trace them to my youth

and then you had to bring up reincarnation
over a couple of beers the other night
and now i'm serving time for mistakes
made by another in another lifetime

how long till my soul gets it right
can any human being ever reach that kind of light
i call on the resting soul of galileo
king of night vision, king of insight

and then i think about my fear of motion
which i never could explain
some other fool across the ocean years ago
must have crashed his little airplane

how long till my soul gets it right
can any human being ever reach that kind of light
i call on the resting soul of galileo
king of night vision, king of insight

i'm not making a joke, you know me
i take everything so seriously
if we wait for the time till all souls get it right
then at least i know there'll be no nuclear annihilation
in my lifetime i'm still not right

i offer thanks to those before me
that's all i've got to say
'cause maybe you squandered big bucks in your lifetime
now i have to pay
but then again it feels like some sort of inspiration
to let the next life off the hook
but she'll say "look what i had to overcome from my last life
i think i'll write a book"

how long till my soul gets it right
can any human being ever reach the highest light
except for galileo god rest his soul
(except for the resting soul of galileo)
king of night vision, king of insight

how long
(till my soul gets it right)
[til we reach the highest light]
how long
(till my soul gets it right)
[til we reach the highest light]
how long

Walk down the road by Cynthia Alexander

Walked the streets today, mindless of the way i argued with my feet,
wanted to go this way but went that way fate had me in its grip
and by chance and by grace both i wonder why,
i suddenly looked up and in your deep deep eyes saw the
Smile of all Smiles

In my naked wanderings i thought i heard you whisper my name
there you are soft and slumbered and cradled in her arms
well i try to understand why you set me free
was it love or insecurity you let me be

*I walk down the road, I , Look up at the sky
Now I know why*

Reasoning has conquered me, I can't and won't deny the fact
my heart beats a special Drumm only for you
but i'm glad to be on my own, i have never been this free
from all suspicion and the pain grown year upon year (*)

>give me space give me time don't lose yourself to anyone<

Water rushes down my back, down the water runs
Walking in the rain then seemed beyond conception
ive never been so alive, so much in love with life
and from the gray gray sky fell the
Tear of all Tears (*)
