Guidos Guidos - Coach:Mark1-1 VS Trojans - Coach: Jamie2-0 Trojans

51.6              PRELIM            63.0

Like it or not, TrojanBoy has a legit team this year.  It aint as good as he is smacking, but hey, if I had scored 100+ my first 2 games and started 2-0 I would talk smack too.  My pick here is just wishful thinking, but I am going with GUIDOS in a high scoring affair. Look at this, Trojan boy loses Jamal Anderson, but sill comes out victorious.  And hell, he did it and still has 2 playing tonight.  You still got lucky trojan boy, and I hope you see now that you are in big trouble.  You've lost a starting RB (and you don't have the backup) and Favre will start playing some real teams soon.

WarlordsWarlords - Coach: Will (Commish)1-1 VS Warlords - Coach: Will (Commish)1-1Bushmen

52.0                PRELIM            83.9

He's almost completely revamped his whole team.  New QB, new K, couple new WR.  Well, with pickups like Joe Jerevious and Curtis Conway, what chance do I stand with Owens, Toomer, and Thrash??  Incredible - I score almost 100 last week and lose, and now this week I only score 52, I still have Owens, but he has the damn SF QB.  Who the hell was stupid enough to drop JERRY RICE so that Bushmen could pick him up and BEAT ME WITH HIM.  As soon as I find out, that's gonna cost you an extra $10 for pissing me off.

AardvarkAardvarks - Coach: Matt2-0VSXterminators - Coach:Vinnie1-1Xterminators

91.7                 Final                  69.9

RB's vs WR's.  Allen, Bettis, Davis vs BOston, Brown, Pathon, Horn.  Let us not forget though, that Aardvarks has the newly aquried Randy Moss.  I honestly do not think that the Moss man can be stopped 3 weeks in a row.  I know they face the Tampa D, but this is Moss.  Sorry Vinnie, but I have to go with the odds. Well, Vinnie would have beat me, but Aardvarks had good games out of everyone on his team.  Everyone except Goings that is.  Aardvarks are well on their way back into dominance in the WFFL.

LecterLecter - Coach: Keith2-0 VS1-1DevilDogs

113.3        PRELIM        83.9

This is pretty much a no brainer.  Lecter may have shit for WR, but as I have said before, and will probably say for the next couple of years - Faulk + Edjerrin = WIN. Can Devil Dogs pull out the upset of the week??  Down by 30, but with SF RB (Barlow) and NY Jets DEF, 30 points are possible.  ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE ON MONDAY NIGHT.

DarklordsDarkLords - Coach: Brian0-2VS Originators - Coach: Chris0-1Oralators

42.0       PRELIM            69.3

Someone has to win - right??  From what I see, the only real quality from Oralators this week is Denver QB and R Smith.  He has nothing of substance @ RB this week.  DarkLords on the other hand, has Jack QB and Holt.  Ok, I call heads - Heads it is, so Darklords is my pick. Well, he pulled off a win.  Wasn't pretty, but a win is a win.  He did lost his tie breaker however, but at least he didn't lose 2 games in one day.

BitersPillow Biters - Coach: Dave0-1 VS Los Vicaros - Coach: Jackie0-2Vicaros

59.5       FINAL        135.6

I see Biters all the way.  What a core of WR we have here.  Vicaros is still trying to make up for missing his draft - oh yeah, and the fact of no first rounders for the last 4 years.  Take Biters 4 WR, add in some Watters, and toss a Donavon to boot, and I see an ass-whoopin.  Boy can I call it or what - I told you this would be an ass-whoopin.  I'm wondering how the Biters are feeling now that Watters is hurt??  At least he has Antowain Smith to help out.  Way to come out of the slup Jackie.  The week wasn't a total loss and the Biters did win the Tie-Breaker over Oralators.

Dukes 1-1Dukes - Coach: JayVS2-0Hometown Homy's - Coach: Chris Homys

69.9        FINAL        67.4

Dukes drove me crazy last year and it looks like the trend is going to continue this year.  Score high one week, do nothing the next.  The Dukes just revamped his team with a $10 addition also (5 drops/pickups for those not following), but it may be mute against Peyton, Edjerrin, and R Smith.  Boy Homy's are very dependant on the Colts.  We all know how that went.  Dukes hand the Homy's their first loss of the season.  Maybe Dukes did make all the right moves.

Wankies1-1Daft Wankies - Coach: R.S. Ross VS1-1Celtics - Coach: ChrisCeltics

47.2           PRELIM       82.9

3 of the TOP WR were held in check last week, but will Owens and Moss and Jimmy Smith all be held without a TD again??  Odds say NOPE.  Wankies have taken a hard loss with 2 of his keepers going down - Davis and Taylor, but luckily he has Anderson to replace Taylor, and with the emergence of Pathon, I see a formidable WR set this week.  Ok, so they were held in check again.  Boy am I on a roll - I think I've called about 2 of them right this week.  Maybe Owens will score 40 pts tonight to push the Wankies over the Celtics (It would push them Warlords too - GO OWENS!!!)

Gators2-0Mastor Gators - Coach: Mike VS 1-1Pow Wows - Coach: JeffPow-Wows

95.4         PRELIM       73.1

The Gators are just so damn lucky sometimes.  He plays the Wankies, and Moss, Owens, and Smith all come up with 0 TDs and on the Gators team, some HOLT and Brown guy get held to 0 TD, but some boner named Freddie Jones scores and BIG OL Jamal Anderson runs a 92 yd TD - Are you serious??  Pow-Wows have lost Duce for the week, but Ahman and Tomilson may be enough to keep the team going - should be a battle, but Gators will probably be going 3-0.  And so it goes.  He leads by 22 going into Monday night and the Pow-Wows have only Chrebet going for them.  He (Wayne) has already amassed 2.0 pts this year - IT COULD HAPPEN.

Taz0-2Tazmanian Tornadoes - Coach: Barry VS 1-1Your Mother - Coach:Your Mother

49.0        PRELIM       51.9

These Poor, Poor Tornadoes.  They have to be due to score some points, and with Ricky Williams back from a bye, and the newly acquired S Mack going against the Brownies, I think that Taz may actually be looking at win #1. And another subpar game.  Taz had better start SOME offense here, or a long season will ensue.  Maybe he's looking for #1 pick NEXT YEAR TOO??  Easy, its only 3 weeks into the season - anything can happen.

Knockers 2-0Knockers - Coach: VS 0-2Rump Rangers - Coach: JasonRangers

83.7          PRELIM         42.0

Speaking of poor teams? I'm looking at a team that has 3 of his starters scoring a combined 15 pts in 2 weeks.  I can't imagine a whole lot of wins following a crew like that.  Have I mentioned before the fact that this team once had Watters and dropped him back into the draft??  You would think that would influence my decision, but actually, it Marshall Faulk, Barlow, Thrash, and Keyshawn that are making up my mind.  Pretty much a thrashing here.  I'm not really sure about picking up the DET K the to replace the TENN K though - it seems to me they were both on a BYE.  Didn't matter, any kicker was not going to make up the 41+ pts needed to beat the Knockers this week.

Top Dogs0-2Tazmanian Tornadoes - Coach: Barry VS0-2PoonHounds - Coach: StevePoonHounds

40.1        PRELIM      54.0

I've got good news here - someone is going to win a game.  Poonhounds has even turned in his starters - imagine that.  Top Dogs are without her top RB in Eddie George this week.  She does have Orlandis Gary, who appears to be the man in Denver now.  But when you say DENVER now, the name Griese comes to mind, and he will be seen throwing another 20 passes to Rod Smith again - much to the benefit of the Hounds. Well, if Cheryl does NOT win this game, she will probably be kicking herself for days to come.  She benched the Holmes man in favor of Gary, and what happens??  Preist runs his balls off and scores a mere 42 pts.  More than her WHOLE team.  Win or not, this will be the boner coach of the week for the AFC.

Cloud Callout: I think I shoulda started Holmes 42pts

10-2-01 Ok, so once again -I have to explain this whole waiver wire rule.  It's not really so hard boys and girls.  There is a list, whoever is on top has the most rights.  The one on bottom has NO rights.  When a coach USES the waiver to pick up someone, he moves to the bottom of the list.  Here is a breakdown of the days of the week and how the waiver rule is implemented on those days.

Sunday - From 1PM on, NO PICKUPS

Monday - NO PICKUPS

Tues-WAIVER

Wed- WAIVER

Thu- WAIVER

FRI-Free for all

Sat-Free for all

Sun-until 1PM - Free for all

Now I feel bad for those of you that HAD Jamal Anderson, but it is your own fault for not having the backups.  You all have had your chance to ask me about the waivers, and you've had more than ample opportunity to get those backups.  This waiver rule is in effect just for this reason.  If you waste it on 'DUMB' pickups, you will lose out on the big ones.

Oh, and also - the only MONEY HIGH score is the WFFL high score.  I only have the AFC/NFC for FUN.  Until I start collecting money from people, I cant even think of adding more money prizes.  It also was to get more BABES, but apparently no one likes the babes anymore.  I haven't received ONE high score babe yet this year.  Until I do, the babes will no longer be updated.  I have taken the babes off of the FRONT page so that it can be loaded at work without offending anyone!!!

10-1-01   It is weeks like this that make it hard for me to get out and update these stupid stats.  The ONLY good thing about the NFL this week is that the Steelers squeaked by the dumbass Bills.  The F$#%ing browns are in first place, and my whole damn team is lucky to score 30 pts.  Freaking Trojan boy will probably go 3-0 even with the loss of  Jamal Anderson.

Speaking of Jamal - what the hell is it with injuries?  Seems to me to be a bit more than normal.  4 guys go down this week.
