Guest speaker: Tom Barbera, Democratic State Committee   The Islamic Center of Boston presents a discussion on Ballot Question 1, an initiative to eliminate the Massachusetts state income tax. A representative from Vote No On Question 1 will visit the ICB on Sunday October 19th to give a presentation on the detrimental affects that Ballot Question 1 would have if passed.   This Question will appear on the November 4th general election ballot.   According to the Vote No On Question 1 advocates, the question is a reckless proposal that will have severe and immediate consequences for all residents in Massachusetts.  The referendum proposes to take nearly 40 percent out of the state budget.  This would result in driving up local property taxes and leading to drastic cuts in services and local aid.       Islamic Center of Boston 126 Boston Post Road, Wayland, Mass (508)358-5885                www.icbwayland.org
