Our activities committee (SAC) has planned some events and socials for the year.  Dates will be assigned shortly, so keep watching this page for updates.

Rich Heil and Herb Breeden will lead WPC in an "
Eagle Watch" in February.  The sound of it is very intriguing.  What could it be?  Avial accessorizing?  Supervision of high-ranking boy scouts?  A secretize operation?  Come and find out!

In
March, we will serve pot-luck chili on our Game and Trivia Night..  We bring our favorite board and card games as the sharks come out to test their respective triple-word-score and multiple-choice prowess.  Test: what is the language origin of the word "chili"? (a) Spanish  (b) Italian  (c) Portuguese  (d) Anglo idiom.

How many eggs will you find in the
April Easter Egg Hunt?  Some are easy to find, and some are tricky.  With the addition of our new playground, there's a few more interesting hiding spots.  Don't forget your baskets.  Would you know a "cotton bunny" if you saw one?

In
May, we will have our work day.  This is a "Spring Cleaning" opportunity to put items of disrepair back into service or to provide some general cleanup and improvement of building and grounds.  Psalms 128:2 You will enjoy the fruit of your labor.  How happy you will be!  How rich your life!

Ahh
June - time to watch the Boys of Summer battle in the Central Division at Busch Stadium.  We will cheer our Cardinals heroes to victory, come rain or shine.

July is a hot month in the St. Louis area, and what better time than to cool off with some splash and dash in our annual Pool Party.  This will probably be accompanied by a barbecue.  Bring your towels and suntan lotion.

Meet me at the Muni in Forest Park in
August.  Some of the best off-Broadway shows are offered in this beautiful outdoor ampitheater, which remains a well-kept secret in the Gateway City .  Fearless leadership is planning this event as we speak.

Have you ever enjoyed a weekend
Riverboat Cruise down the Mississippi?  Dixie bands, sumptuous buffets, and the splash of the paddlewheel will make for a memorable time in September.

October will have a retreat or camping trip.  This is a time to be together with our church family and friends in the tranquility of God's creation, away from the noise and bustle of our regular routines.

In
November, our Pizza Fund Raiser is a crusty affair, but notwithstanding cheesy technique, we will pepper our buyers with a slice of good-old-Presbyterian-know-how, and the saucy result will be a mushrooming of good times.

And, finally, we will tune up for Christmas Caroling in
December.  Pass the hot cocoa!
