| Our "Club-Can-Do" theme was a hit for the Vacation Bible School (VBS) children and staff. It takes quite a bit of preparation and effort to make this week of activities happen, but it results in a rewarding time for all. In the Sunday worship service, the kids gave the WPC congregation terrific renditions of the songs they learned. |
| Our kids had a great time at the St. Louis Zoo. I think they all wanted to take the gorilla statue home, but zoo officials told us the rules didn't permit it. However, the gift shop had the smaller, softer variety, and a few happy youngsters were content with that option. |
| On Sunday evenings at 6:30PM, we have a small adult gathering at the church to discuss growth and faith issues and consider ways that the Bible applies to our modern lives. This is preceded by a light meal in Risser Hall, adjacent to the Sanctuary. Everyone is invited. In this pic, one of our members is enjoying a yummy bowl of chili, or soup, or something - I'm not sure what, but she said it was good. Sorry for the poor picture quality. |
| More eating photos. This is from our recent progressive dinner. We journey by car to different venues for each of 3 dinner courses. This is the soup and salad course at one of our church member's homes. Trouble is, many of us filled up on the appetizers and didn't have room for this course or the dessert. It is a wonderful time to socialize and exchange what's going on in our lives. Pass the crackers, please! |
